STORE TERMS
Clear terms for a custom-made order.
These terms govern use of this storefront and orders for custom cutouts, life-size prints, backdrops, and related event prints. By uploading artwork or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked below.
- Last updated September 7, 2026
- Custom products are made to order
- Mandatory consumer rights remain protected
1 · USING THE STORE
Accurate information keeps the order moving.
You must be legally able to enter a purchase contract where you live, or use the store with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate billing, shipping, contact, and order information. Review the delivery address, product, artwork, quantity, size, event date, and options before checkout.
2 · CUSTOM PRODUCTS & APPROVAL
What you approve becomes the production specification.
- Made to order
- Cutouts, life-size prints, and backdrops are produced from the artwork and options selected for the order.
- Live preview
- Review the detected physical pieces, finished size, crop, white edge, flat-base choice, backdrop shape, quantity, and any width or image-quality notice.
- Scene references
- People, rulers, rooms, balloons, furniture, and other scene elements shown around the uploaded artwork are scale or styling references and do not print.
- Production cleanup
- Routine edge cleanup, background cleanup, colour-profile conversion, bleed, cut-path preparation, and complimentary image enhancement may be applied where needed.
3 · YOUR ARTWORK
Upload only work you are allowed to reproduce.
You keep the rights you hold in uploaded artwork. By uploading a file, you give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to receive, store, copy, isolate, crop, enhance, resize, prepare, print, manufacture, package, ship, support, and retain reasonable operational backups of that file only as needed to provide the order and comply with legal obligations.
You confirm that you created the artwork, own it, or have permission to reproduce it, and that the requested use does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Finding or buying an image online does not automatically include reproduction rights. We may reject unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harmful, or otherwise prohibited content. Uploaded artwork is not used in advertising without separate permission.
4 · COLOUR, DETAIL & DIMENSIONS
Digital previews and physical printing are not identical.
Screens display colour differently, and enlargement can reveal softness, compression, or missing detail in the source file. Complimentary enhancement can improve many files but cannot recreate detail that is not present. Finished pieces can also have minor, reasonable variation from printing, cutting, trimming, folding, material, assembly, and measurement tolerances. These provisions do not reduce rights for a product that is defective or materially different from the approved specification.
5 · PRICING, PAYMENT & ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Review your final total at checkout.
Available products and prices are shown before checkout. The currency, discounts, shipping, taxes, duties, and total displayed at checkout control the transaction. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt; it does not prevent payment, fraud, artwork, production, legal, or technical review. We may refuse or cancel an unproduced order for a failed payment, obvious technical or pricing error, prohibited artwork, suspected fraud, unavailable destination, or inability to manufacture the requested design. Amounts paid for an unproduced item will be refunded where required.
6 · CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & DELIVERY
The voluntary change window is 12 hours.
Request an order change or cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order by emailing info@spicaprint.com with the order number and exact request. A request is not confirmed until we acknowledge it. After 12 hours, production preparation may have begun and a change or cancellation might not be possible. An approved change can affect the price and timing.
Production and delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed date is expressly confirmed in writing. An event date helps identify a tight timeline but is not a delivery guarantee. Rush Production prioritizes production only and does not remove carrier, customs, weather, address, or customer-response delays. See the detailed shipping policy.
7 · RETURNS, REPRINTS & SAFE USE
Custom products are final sale for preference changes.
Personalized products cannot be restocked or resold, so ordinary change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not accepted after the cancellation window. Verified print errors, production errors, and shipping damage follow the remedy process in our Return and Refund Policy. Report shipping damage within 48 hours with the requested photographs, but this reporting request does not remove a legal right that cannot be waived.
Products are decorative, not structural, climbing, protective, or safety equipment. Follow assembly and placement instructions, secure pieces appropriately, and supervise their use around children, pets, wind, heat, traffic, and event equipment.
8 · SITE USE & LIABILITY
Use the storefront lawfully.
Do not interfere with the site, bypass security or pricing controls, submit fraudulent orders, scrape or overload the service, introduce malicious code, or use the site for an unlawful purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted site access and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses connected with an event. Where liability may legally be limited, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order. Fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, and mandatory legal rights are not excluded.
9 · LAW, CHANGES & CONTACT
Ontario law applies without removing local mandatory rights.
These terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal laws of Canada, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that apply where they live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. The version in effect when an order is placed will normally govern that order.
